PERFECT FERRO ROD STRIKER SCRAPER FOR STARTING A CAMPING FIRE WITH FERRO ROD
MORE EFFECTIVE TO PREPARE TINDERS
- SHARP TEETH ON END to grind off some of the magnesium and wood shavings.
- MORE EFFECTIVE – make small wood chips or curls of ferrocerium to work as tinder.
COMFORTABLE TO HANDLE WHEN WEAR GLOVES
- MORE COMFORTABLE for big hands and striking when wearing gloves. Not too large or small or painful to grip after multiple failed attempts to start a fire.
- ANTI-SLIP PATTERN – laser engraved FERROFIRE logos work well for that.
THROW HOT RIBBONS WITH A FERRO ROD
- 4 STRIKING EDGES are nice and sharp for a good, beefy spark.
- SUPER SHARP – all made of carbon steel with 4 sharp edges, “bite” surface of a ferro rod to generate hot sparks shower with shorter striking distance.

Laura –
What an awesome fat wood scrapper and it is one of the best ferro rod sparking tools i have ever used well worth the money i bought another set. They are that good try them once and i am sure you’ll use them exclusively for your ferro rods
Faulk –
I think this beats every Striker I’ve ever used… Strong, sharp…
Brian –
These are a great addition to my fire kit. I went with the two pack just in case I lose one or give one away. I’ve been looking at strikers for a while, and these ones caught my eye. I think they are comfortable in the hand, and easy to control even with gloves on. They’re definitely lightweight as well. The length is perfect I think, because some strikers are too short which makes them awkward while trying to use them.
Simon –
I ordered these out of frustration. It seemed like every time I got a striker bundled with a ferro rod I had purchased, the striker was crap so I would just chuck it and use my knife.
This striker is functional. That says a lot for a striker.
Daniel –
Very compact, light weight, and work well. These striker/scrapers work with my ferro rod and keep me from having to use the spine of my knife.
Busybuilder –
These fire steel strikers work great! They are small, and lightweight. The handle makes them easy to grip. The edges of the strikers are sharp, and they bite into the fire steel. They produce a lot of go sparks.
Allen –
This ferro rod scraper is amazing! I have used other scrapers in the past that have never been this good. It is a good sturdy piece of carbide metal that is easy to hold on to. It also has a sharp edge that can easily scrape large strips off.
You can see in the included video how easily you can strike it across the rod to produce extremely hot ribbons for starting a fire.
